I spent a good 4 months in 2022 slowly painting this massive canvas. Largest surface I’ve ever worked on, I learned a good deal from this one. It’s not quite fully realized, but I think that I’m happy with where it’s at.

The Bird Priests are the link between man and bird, in a spiritual and genetic sense. They are the elders of the outer mutants, descendants of those who modified their very DNA in an age long past. The Bird Priests and their flocks are shunned from the dome, and forced to live in the subterranean metropopli underneath.
